Great advice from your freind about speed. I run with a running group and I am one of the slowest among us. Sometimes it's a blow to the ego knowing I have to work twice as hard to see only half the benefits, but the point is that we are all at different levels. We all have different strenghts and weaknesses. I totally agree. Don't worry too much about time - especially for your first half! Just get it done and enjoy it. Speed will come to you.
I love ME too. And that photo is so beautiful. I think there is nothing like a beautiful snowy mountain in the distance when it is not snowy where you are. Don't know why but it does it for me.
