"Many fine things can be done in a day if you don't always make that day tomorrow”
I DID IT!!
Today, I got out there and ran 19K. Post-run, I am doing good! The pain was minimal, my legs were tired and by the end I had cramps in my toes on the left foot (I think the injinji's did that). It was also cold (-5°C/23°F actual, but temperature felt was -12°C/10°F) and freaking windy! But, I don't care because I did what I had to do. My groin is feeling better and better and the healing is going well despite the increased mileage. We can do this (my body and I)! Next week, the plan is 23K...it would be so nice if by then Spring had found it's way over here. I am so over winter!! But, I'm running :) :)
Cheers!

Woohoo!! Not for the stinking cold weather - but for the GOOD run. Happy for you.
There you go with your positive, upbeat, get the job done attitude and it looks good on you! You go girl!
another congrat's to a good run. and I am also sooooo ready for spring. we were out and about today and to be honest - I thought it was miserable. breezy and cold - I just want the temp's to be in the normal range - nothing special - just normal.
good running and have a great week.
Let's hope you have spring temperatures for your run next weekend. Glad to hear things are going well. Yeah for recovery from injuries. Any summer races planned?
Well done, hope your recovery keeps getting better and better.
Yay! Best sentence ever...'I'm Running' :)
And yes, a dose of spring would be nice. We're hoping by the end of the week to be up to 70!!!! Can hardly wait!

Now that is really good! 19km and 23km planned…fantastic! That is probably as cold as it would get in our winter. I still don’t know how you get through your really cold days. All the best with your buildup!
Finally got your address changed on my blog, thanks for reminding me!
Congrats on your progress, it is very good to hear you are doing so well!

Holy cow that is cold! I'm glad to hear your feeling better too!
"Secateur" is a pretty word. Is it a French word or just a French Canadian word? Do the French Canadians also tend their gardens nude like in the picture?
I just stumbled across your blog. I love the quotes you include at the beginning of each post!

Glad you are doing good and you can run long distances.
